FSU PKA - Legends Campaign

Twenty-nine Delta Lambda Brothers wore the Garnet & Gold for the Seminoles this year. They competed for Florida State on the gridiron, the diamond, the cinder track, the courts, the lacrosse field, and in the pool. Continuing a tradition that dates back 40 years, Pike had more varsity and club athletes in 2010-11 than all the other fraternities combined.

The spring Garnet & Gold football game featured nine Delta Lambda Brothers, including the starting quarterbacks for both teams: EJ Manuel '11 for the Garnet and Clint Trickett '10 for the Gold. Other offensive stars were quarterback Andrew Nowels '07, fullback Lonnie Prior '09, and center Phil Doumar '09.

The Seminoles are touted to have a monster defense in 2011, led by Pike Brothers including "G5" (Greg Reid '10) MVP of the 2010 Chick-fil-A Bowl. Other defensive stars include safety Justin Bright '09, linebacker Christian Jones '10 (Christian also started for the Pikes on our Championship IM Basketball team), and safety Nick Moody '10.

Two more Delta Lambda Brothers played for the Seminoles in the 2010 season. Linebacker Vincent Zann '08 and safety Mike Schill '08 completed their eligibility and will be joining the Alumni ranks.

All-American Drew Kittleson '08 was named 2011 Captain of the Golf team, and All-American Brandon Byram '09 was named 2011 Captain of the Track team. Fellow Track star David Ambler '10 was also named All-American.
